Fond Farewell

A Fond Farewell
Posted by Marc Meadow

We’re glad to hear things are shapin’ up in Jennings (See Post Below)

As you may know, we are about to lose our hardworking DGA trainee, JoAnn Lowrie. Her last day will be Wednesday, October 19th. Now, everyone works hard on the set, that is for certain. But I’d like to know the last time any of us had to deal with an average of 100 mangy,  pissin’ and  moanin’ guys as we background may be on any givin’ day. So, to show our appreciation for watchin’ our backs and all her hard work, I have purchased a small gift of thanks.

Now, I am perfectly happy to bestow it on my behalf, but it occurred to me that some of you might care to add your blessings to the gesture.  I bought a box of 30 handcrafted holiday cards including self-sealing foil wrapped envelopes.  Here is a picture of the card:

The sentiment on the card reads: “Season’s Greetings and Best Wishes for a Wonderful New year”

I am not asking for any contribution to add your name to the gift.  I suppose we would have to get a large card to each sign our name upon.  I just want to be certain that the gift is there for her on that Wednesday or earlier as appropriate.  Any suggestions?

OF COURSE IT GOES WITHOUT SAYING THAT THIS IS A SURPRISE!  LOOSE LIPS SINK SHIPS–
