Carl Virden as Thomas Clemson

Hello All,

I managed to land a part in a short historical film about the founding of Clemson University. I played Thomas Green Clemson at age 80. The film was shot in South Carolina at Clemson University in the mansion of John C. Calhoun who was Clemson's father-in-law. What a great time I had while I was there!

Cheers,
Carl Virden

Chicago Tribune Review by Michael Phillips at MY WAY Movies

A detective (Adrien Brody) uncovers unexpected links to his own personal life as he probes the mysterious death of "Superman'' actor George Reeves (Ben Affleck) in 1959. A possible affair between the actor and Toni Mannix (Diane Lane), the wife of a studio executive (Bob Hoskins), might reveal the truth.
